Hartnell Taylor Cook’s Mechanical & Electrical professionals collaborate with the Property Management and Building Consultancy colleagues to offer clients solutions that directly contribute to sustainable and better performing buildings whether on new buildings or retrofitting exploiting learned best practice.

Implementing owner and occupier focused Mechanical and electrical techniques ensure asset realisation by reducing running costs and capital expenditure whilst maintaining overall occupier satisfaction. Key to these techniques is an unparalleled understanding of the asset, its M & E system’s and building occupiers and owners through continuous and constructive engagement.

An amazing opportunity for an experienced Senior Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join Hartnell Taylor Cook in the vibrant cities of London or Bristol. The successful candidate will work across a wide range of projects including commercial, education, and health sectors.

To be considered for this Energy & Sustainability Consultant role you will have:

  • BSc/BEng in Sustainability/Environmental/Surveying/Building Services Disciplines or Similar
  • Relevant experience within the sector
  • Qualifications, including but not limited to; NABERS, BREEAM, ESOS, Non-    Domestic and Domestic Energy Assessor, Low Carbon Consultant and Public Buildings Energy Assessor
  • Successfully lead energy projects
  • Completed energy assessments
  • Innovative skills with commercial knowledge
  • Brilliant communication skills and time management
  • Chartered status or working towards becoming a member of a professional body

Working as an Energy & Sustainability Consultant you will:

  • Produce Energy and Sustainability Statements and Strategies
  • Complete energy assessments (EPC, DEC, ESOS)
  • Support with business development and possess market awareness
  • Complete environmental assessments such as BREEAM
  • Mobility to travel at short notice
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule involving travel throughout the United Kingdom;
  • Possession of a valid passport and EU recognised full driving licence
