Business Support Coordinator – Bristol



We have a position available immediately for an experienced Administrator / Office Coordinator to join a busy team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing direct support to a wider business to enable the department/business to operate efficiently. You will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative and also have excellent communication and organisation skills, with an eye for detail and commercial awareness.

Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP is an Independent Commercial Property Consultant dedicated to maximising our clients’ property returns whether they are an owner, an occupier, an investor or a developer.

We provide a comprehensive service covering all aspects of Commercial Property located throughout the UK with an established reputation for our specialist knowledge of retail property nationwide and all facets of the commercial property market located throughout the South West.

Key responsibilities: –

  • Comprehensive diary management; arrange meetings and maintain diaries for the wider team
  • Take ownership of key event trackers
  • Electronic file management
  • Drafting service charge year end reports
  • Drafting of completion statements using set templates
  • Drafting of service charge budget reports using set templates for surveyors and facility managers to input into.
  • Update new supplier forms and manage any changes to details
  • Liaise between Facilities Managers and contractors regarding minor queries
  • Manage various departmental spreadsheets and trackers
  • Visiting sites as and when required
  • Other adhoc administration duties

Skills and Experience:-

  • A proven track record of secretarial skills, administration and diary management
  • Advanced skills in dictation and digital dictation
  • Advanced IT skills including outlook, Word, Excel and office products
  • Good attention to detail, with a strong numerical and written ability
  • Able to write clear, concise reports
  • Strong communication/telephone skills
  • Be able to work at pace
  • Ideally demonstrate experience of working with commercial property, or the legal side of residential property (such as conveyancing) for a firm of chartered surveyors, or an in-house property team
