In November we take a quick swerve from the charities we’ve been supporting all year long in order to incorporate Movember into our activities.
This year, four of our team will be growing moustaches to raise money, while another group are doing a sponsored walk to a WWII Wellington Bomber aircraft crash site in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). It’ll be a poignant trip, timed for the Remembrance Day weekend.
Movember is the leading global charity changing the face of men’s health. They exist to stop men dying too young by tackling some of the most complex health issues facing men today – mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. On average, men are dying 4.5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. We want to do something about that.
Pictured above, James Frost, Eric Woollard, Duncan Cole and Alex Halle will all be growing a mo’, asking their friends and family to donate generously to the cause.
