How did you get into property?
I studied Building Surveying at university after being drawn to the practical side of the role and opportunities it presents to explore different buildings. I was able to secure a work placement during university which lead to an offer of employment after completing my degree. Fortunately, no regrets on my career choice and I have been lucky enough to survey buildings in all corners of the UK.
Your favourite thing about working for HTC?
The camaraderie, not just in my direct team but across the business between both London and Bristol offices.
Fun fact about yourself?
During the Covid lockdown I rediscovered a passion for endurance sport and now participate in triathlons during my spare time.
How do you like to relax?
Heading out to ‘the sticks’ to run trails or discover new cycle routes, always with an obligatory café stop!
Something you’ve learnt over the last year?
After a pretty bad eye infection, I have learnt never to go swimming whilst wearing contact lenses!

Pint of Guinness
If you could give your younger self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Be kinder to myself and trust the process.
