Following an extensive fire in late summer 2020, Hartnell Taylor Cook Cost Consultancy were appointed to work alongside Building Consultancy and Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy to procure and deliver the reinstatement works to the damaged building on behalf of the University.
The works which were valued at £3m, involved substantial internal reinstatement including wholesale replacement of MEP services, together with significant repair and replacement works at roof level.
The works were procured via a phased negotiated tender with the selected contractor in order to deliver the building back to the client as early as possible.
