The acquisition of the long leasehold interest of a part let major leisure and office scheme in Central Milton Keynes following completion of the development by Frontier Estates for a Guernsey based property company. The agency department secured lettings of the remaining vacant units at record rents of £30+ psf and have since asset managed the scheme on behalf of the present owner Highclare Estates. Hartnell Taylor Cook subsequently negotiated the purchase of the freehold interest and the reversionary interest in over 500 flats which are arranged in 5 tower blocks within the scheme. The central square of the development is in the process of being reconfigured to provide an attractive landscaped amenity which will further enhance the scheme together with covered external seating areas fronting the individual restaurant units.
