An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bid & Business Development Associate to join our London office.
This is a varied and integral role supporting Directors and the wider team in securing new business opportunities, particularly within the public sector. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive bid coordination, business development administration, and team support, while maintaining a high degree of organisation, accuracy and initiative.
You will be confident managing multiple deadlines, tracking opportunities, and coordinating contributions across departments to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities
Bid & Tender Management
- Support Directors in the preparation and submission of bids for public and private sector opportunities
- Monitor and manage public and private sector portals, including Find a Tender and framework portals
- Receive, process, record and track all tender opportunities and framework invitations
- Set up and maintain structured bid folders, trackers and version control systems
- Manage clarifications, portal communications and submission requirements
- Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PSQs) and coordinate input from HR, Finance, H&S and other departments
- Draft bid responses using previous content, tailoring and refining to meet specific requirements
- Trim or expand quality responses to align with word counts and scoring criteria
- Collate supporting evidence, attachments and appendices, ensuring correct formatting and naming conventions
- Create organisational charts, graphics and supporting imagery where required
- Ensure all submissions are compliant, professionally formatted and submitted on time
- Track ongoing and completed bids, reporting on progress and outcomes
- Update quarterly bid reports and other internal performance reports
Business Development & Reporting
- Track framework invitations and assess against internal opportunity matrices
- Manage accreditations and ensure all supplier information remains current
- Draft and issue internal reporting relating to bids and public sector activity
- Maintain key event trackers and departmental spreadsheets
- Support the management of public sector frameworks
Team & Office Support
- Provide comprehensive diary management for Directors and the wider team
- Schedule meetings and coordinate internal bid review sessions
- Chase fee earners and contributors for required information and deadlines
- Undertake additional ad hoc administrative duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or bid coordination role
- Experience supporting public sector bids and framework submissions
- Strong proofreading and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Advanced IT proficiency, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to produce clear, concise and well-structured written responses
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident working independently and using initiative
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment
- Experience in or willingness to learn application of AI tools
