Leading commercial property consultancy Hartnell Taylor Cook has today announced the appointment of David North as its new Managing Partner, effective 1 November 2025. David will succeed Stuart Howell, who steps down from the role after 12 years of outstanding leadership at the helm of the business. Stuart will remain a Partner and a key part of the senior management team with a focus on developing the company’s fast-growing portfolio of Property & Asset Management clients.
David has been with Hartnell Taylor Cook for 25 years and has worked across its agency and asset management disciplines, dividing his time between the Bristol and London offices. He understands the core values of the business and is well versed in successfully navigating the complex markets it operates in. His impressive track record of developing highly successful teams, driving innovation and expanding the business through both new clients and service lines means he is perfectly placed to lead the business going forward.
Stuart has been an impressive leader of the business during his tenure, successfully guiding the business through Covid and more recently, a period of exciting expansion. During his time as Managing Partner, the business has gone from strength to strength with revenue nearly doubling to £10.6 million and the team growing to 125 strong. Service lines have been added, the business re-structured and high-profile clients added and retained.
David’s appointment is the latest in a series of strategic steps to bolster the business’ growth and drive continued success across both its London and Bristol offices. The firm has seen growing demand for its services, and under David’s leadership, Hartnell Taylor Cook is well-positioned to build on its reputation for delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions as it embarks on this next phase of growth.
