Previously occupied by Wilko, the space will be repurposed into a state-of-the-art indoor climbing facility situated in the heart of central Bristol, further diversifying the city’s leisure offering.
Acting on behalf of landlord AEW, Hartnell Taylor Cook, alongside joint agents Arc Retail, have successfully secured a letting to The Climbing Hangar. This deal marks a significant step in The Climbing Hangar’s continued UK expansion and further strengthens its presence in Bristol.
The new indoor climbing venue is scheduled to open late summer 2025. It will feature high-quality bouldering facilities, expert coaching and a dynamic social space designed to welcome climbers of all levels.
The Climbing Hangar’s latest venue will reinforce Bristol’s reputation as a hub for outdoor and adventure sports enthusiasts, offering a unique and accessible space for both beginners and seasoned climbers alike.
