Our Senior Staff Conference

As you can see from the picture, we picked a perfect, sunny spring day to hold our annual conference at Bowood House in Wiltshire.

Attended by over 50 of Hartnell Taylor Cook’s senior staff, we came from all offices across the country for team bonding, business updates, a presentation about AI, and inspirational talks from Mo Bury and Ann Daniels MBE.

The aim of the day was to enjoy the opportunity of gathering together in an informal environment, benefiting from the occasion to catch up face-to-face with colleagues and of course to learn from and be inspired by the day’s speakers.

The day began with a business update and review of 2025 – 2026, which then led into a presentation about AI in the office, the new RICS regulations regarding AI and a sneak peek into implementation of exciting new projects.

Mo Bury’s session on ‘neurodiversity for people leaders’ opened up important conversations about how we work, how we support one another and how we continue building an environment where everyone can thrive. The feedback from the room proved how valuable these discussions are, with in-depth conversations taking place over lunch.

Our afternoon’s key motivational speaker was Ann Daniels MBE, the polar explorer. After hearing about Ann’s extraordinary experiences, there were not a few of us quietly considering joining a polar expedition on the journey home!

A big thank you to everyone who contributed, presented and took part. It was a valuable day for all involved.
