We hosted the final Property Parents’ meeting of the year, with the theme of ‘networking shouldn’t come at the expense of family life’.
The December gathering, organised with characteristic energy and commitment by Beth Warren, brought together parents from across Bristol who work in the property sector. It was an opportunity not only to connect professionally but also to share experiences of balancing the demands of careers with the responsibilities of family life.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with conversations ranging from practical tips on managing workloads to reflections on the importance of carving out time for family. Attendees enjoyed coffee, cake and the chance to speak openly with peers who understand the unique challenges faced by parents in the industry.
Now entering its third year, Property Parents has established itself as a valued quarterly event. It was created to provide a supportive space where new parents can build meaningful connections, exchange ideas and discuss the realities of maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a demanding professional environment.
The initiative continues to grow, with each meeting reinforcing the importance of community and shared understanding. As we look ahead to the coming year, we remain committed to supporting parents in property and ensuring that networking opportunities are accessible, inclusive and mindful of family life.
