At Hartnell Taylor Cook, we are proud to sponsor Professional Unification of Martial Arts (P.U.M.A.) All Stars Tae Kwon Do team; an inspiring group of athletes who truly embody what it means to persevere. Every member trains with a diagnosis or condition, embracing the challenge with determination.
These remarkable students participate in the Indomitable Spirit division, a category designed to ensure that competitions are inclusive, empowering and tailored to their needs. With this support, they not only build confidence and self-esteem, but also grow in sportsmanship, ambition and community.
Through the tireless efforts of P.U.M.A.’s volunteer coaching staff, squad members are offered opportunities to train, travel, and compete at national and international levels. The team helps cover costs for tournament entries, training venues, uniforms, equipment, and even international registration, making sure no student is held back by financial barriers.
One of the highlights of our recent support was enabling the All Stars Junior Team to try out their new ‘Bully Bob’ sparring equipment. A first for many, this adaptive method allows competitors to showcase their skills in a safe and supportive environment, without the pressure of traditional sparring.
